Wildlife Garden
Children in Year 1 have been planting wild flower seeds in our wildlife area hoping they will attract insects in the summer


Book Week 2010
The children celebrated book week during the week beginning March 1st. Usborne books were here all day on Thursday and raised about £800 of books for our class rooms. We ended the week dressing up as our favourite book characters.





Major Read and Paige Turner turned up for assembly to present our Reading Champions with their certificates

Dance Festival
On Thursday January 28th 'Js Jewels' took part in a Dance Festival alongside 13 other schools. They looked good and danced beautifully. They were a credit to the school.

The Christmas Nativity
Children from Foundation and Key Stage 1 performed 'The Nativity'



Snowman Visit
On Friday November 27th a Snowman came to visit our Reception children who had been reading his book and learning all about him. They had made him a special cake and biscuits, asked lots of questions and danced with him.





Mad Science
On Friday November 20th Mad Science came to town. The day started with an Assembly and then various workshops for every class. Our thanks to PTFA who treated the children to this wonderful science experience.


Remembrance Day - November 11th
On Sunday November 8th two of our children represented the school and laid a wreath at the Remembrance Ceremony. The whole school took part in the 2 minute silence on November 11th at 11.00am and teachers explained to them the significance of this day.

Harvest Festival
On Friday October 23 the children took part in our Harvest Festival at the village church. The children gave generously with food for the elderly of Felsted as well as Jars of Grace for Valerie Mulcare-Tivey's Mumbai orphans. They raised £280.

Line Dance
J's Jewels held a Line Dance in the school hall on Saturday June 20th. The Jewels opened the dance with a demonstration of dances they had learnt during their Monday Club. The Jewels were presented with a medal for their excellent performance. The event raised £460 which is going to the Vegetable Garden project.
